Devon Beekeepers’ Beginners’ on-line course 2021
To enrol for the course please apply through the secretary of the branch you wish to join. Numbers are limited due to the need to deliver practical sessions as the active season progresses, subject to Covid regulations. Please confirm you have been accepted for a place before making payment.
The course fee is £63 which includes access to ten weekly on-line lectures, also available to view later, plus the practical apiary-based tuition at the branch of your choice. Please note, apiary based tuition may be delayed in some branches due to the backlog of beginners from last year who were unable to complete their course due to Covid-19. In addition, you will be enrolled as a member of DBKA, which is affiliated to the British Beekeepers’ Association (BBKA). Normally this will be as a Registered Member (£37.00), Partner (£17.00), or Junior (£17). Details of membership categories are provided with the application form which the branch secretary will provide.
DBKA and BBKA membership also brings insurance benefits, magazines and newsletters, access to the Member’s area of the BBKA and DBKA websites, and branch activities and meetings.
If you are already a member of DBKA for 2021 you will only have to pay the course fee of £63.
